njtx-264
8.8mm Kevlar Double Eye Prusik Loop

A high-strength Eye-to-Eye Prusik Hitch designed specifically for professional arboriculture (Tree Care), rope rescue systems, and rope access. This product is constructed from an 8.8mm diameter composite accessory cord, with both ends precision-sewn using industrial-grade computerized machinery to form dedicated Eye-to-Eye loops, eliminating the uncertainty and strength reduction associated with field-tied knots.

The outer sheath is woven from Kevlar® fiber, offering flame retardancy, high-temperature resistance, superior abrasion resistance, and tear strength. It is specifically designed to handle the high heat generated by high-speed friction against rough arborist ropes or large-diameter work lines, effectively preventing sheath burns and melting. The core consists of high-tenacity nylon, providing a balance of high tensile strength and a supple, grippy feel. Both machine-stitched junctions are covered with high-strength, transparent heat-shrink tubing to protect against external abrasion while allowing for easy visual inspection of the stitching at any time. The overall breaking strength is 22kN, certified to the authoritative GB 30862-2014 Type B standard.

Safety Warnings and Usage Guidelines

Intended Use for Friction Hitches: This product is designed specifically to be wrapped around a main rope to create various friction hitches (such as the Distel Hitch, Valdôtain Tresse / VT hitch, Schwäbisch, or Michoacán). It is strictly prohibited to pull the two eye-loops directly against each other for load-bearing purposes.

Storage in a Cool, Dark Place: Kevlar material is sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) light; prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may reduce its strength by approximately 50%.
