The Petzl PANTIN foot ascender is essential equipment for rope access technicians, arborists, and cavers looking to significantly improve rope ascent efficiency. Usually used in conjunction with a CROLL chest ascender or ASCENSION handled ascender, it allows the body to remain upright while ascending, drastically reducing physical exertion and doubling climbing speed. The new rope guide design ensures that the rope slides smoothly through the device even during the initial low-tension phase just a few meters off the ground.
