Designed for lead climbers pursuing ultimate weight reduction, Rope Access technicians, and fire and mountain rescue teams, these UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene) Dogbone / Quickdraw Slings are crafted from top-tier UHMWPE (Dyneema) fibers using precision weaving, with ends reinforced by high-density automated computer stitching.
Dyneema material offers exceptional physical properties, including an ultra-high strength-to-weight ratio, superior abrasion and cut resistance, chemical inertness, and near-zero water absorption. Weighing as little as 5g, these slings provide a minimum breaking strength (MBS) of 22kN and have been fully certified to the national fire equipment standard XF494-2023. Available in five lengths from 12cm to 35cm, they feature high-visibility color-coding for efficient management. Whether used for assembling ultralight quickdraws, extending rope paths over deep rock features to reduce rope drag, or serving as short-distance connectors in rescue systems, they deliver a perfect balance of safety and lightweight performance.
Key Features
-
Ultra-Lightweight UHMWPE/Dyneema: Revolutionizing traditional polyester and nylon slings, these start at just 5g, significantly reducing the load for lead climbing and long-distance rescue backpacks.
-
22kN Industrial-Grade Strength: Despite their compact size, they possess high tensile strength, fully meeting the breaking strength requirements for high-altitude fall protection and fire rescue operations.
-
Color-Coded Length Identification System:
-
12cm (Green): Standard quickdraw length for a compact, efficient rope path.
-
17cm (Black): Extended quickdraw size for fine-tuning carabiner orientation.
-
18cm (Orange): Moderate extension to correct excessive rope bending.
-
25cm (Red): Extends protection over overhangs or deep recesses to effectively eliminate rope drag and friction.
-
35cm (Yellow): Long-distance bridging, temporary auxiliary anchor construction, and gear transfers.
-
-
High Abrasion, Cut Resistance, and Water Repellency: Does not gain weight when wet, remains flexible in cold temperatures, and offers excellent resistance against sharp rock edges.
-
XF494-2023 Certified: Passed the latest inspection standards for personal protective equipment for firefighters, compliant with government search-and-rescue and professional engineering procurement specifications.
