2mm Dyneema UHMWPE Arborist Throw Line / Multi-purpose High-strength Accessory Cord

A 2mm multifunctional Dyneema (UHMWPE) accessory cord specifically designed for professional arborist throw-line applications, wind-resistant and tear-resistant guy lines for outdoor tents and tarps, and water rescue operations. It features a 16-strand braided sheath over an 8-strand core, with a breaking strength of 200kg and a weight of only 2.4g/m.

Available in a high-visibility solid color or a night-reflective version woven with high-intensity reflective strands. The reflective version is exceptionally conspicuous under headlamp illumination in dark or low-light conditions, effectively preventing tripping in campsites at night or allowing for precise positioning of high-altitude throw lines. It offers superior tear and abrasion resistance, low water absorption (does not gain weight in water and remains buoyant), and extremely low elongation.

Important Safety Notice

• Knot Security: Dyneema fibers are extremely slippery; please leave sufficient tail length when tying knots and use stopper knots.

• Heat Resistance Limit: The material has a melting point of approximately 145°C. High-speed friction heat must be strictly avoided. Not for use as personal fall protection.
