5mm Dyneema UHMWPE Heavy-Duty High-Strength Accessory Cord 50m

A 5mm heavy-duty, high-strength UHMWPE (Dyneema) anchor cord designed specifically for caving (SRT), big wall climbing belay station rigging, industrial rope access, and emergency hauling systems. The 50-meter spool features a 16-strand tough core with a 32-carrier reinforced, high-density braided sheath, offering an ultimate breaking strength of up to 12kN (approx. 1.2 tons).

Weighing only about 15g per meter (approx. 750g per full roll), it reduces weight by over 70% compared to traditional steel cables or thick-diameter static ropes of equivalent strength, making it an excellent lightweight load-bearing anchor cord for expedition caving, lead route setting, and traversing zip lines. The reflective version is woven with night-reflective filaments, ensuring high visibility under low light in dark caves.

Important Safety Notice

• Knot Security: The UHMWPE material surface is extremely slick. Ensure sufficient tail length when tying knots, and always use stopper knots or double fisherman's knots.

• Heat Resistance Limit: The material has a melting point of approximately 145°C. It is strictly prohibited for use as a friction hitch for rappelling to prevent heat buildup from high-speed friction.
