Caving and Canyoneering Anti-Abrasion Butt Pad

A professional, wear-resistant Caving & Canyoning Protection Butt Pad specifically designed for caving, canyoning, and Single Rope Technique (SRT) training in wet, muddy environments. When crawling through narrow caves, sliding down muddy slopes, or descending waterfalls in canyons, it effectively protects wetsuits, work pants, and the load-bearing webbing of harnesses from severe abrasion against rough rock surfaces.

The main body is crafted from premium 1000D thickened, high-strength PVC tarpaulin with a thickness of 0.9mm. It offers excellent tear resistance, scuff resistance, flexibility, and is waterproof and easy to clean; once covered in mud or sand, it can be quickly restored to a clean state with a simple rinse of water. During prolonged SRT suspension or seated movement on rope, the butt pad smoothly distributes pressure on the hips, significantly improving the overall comfort of the rope operator. This product is designed to fit all types of standard webbing-based sit harnesses with a width of less than 5cm (≤50mm) and is perfectly compatible with the NJTX SRT harness padding system.

It has no load-bearing or fall-arrest capabilities and must never be used as a primary point of suspension. It must be used in conjunction with a certified webbing-based sit harness at all times.
