Professional Aluminum Ring Tree Bark Protector

A professional Cambium Saver / Friction Saver designed specifically for modern tree care (arborist) techniques and Doubled Rope Technique (DdRT) anchor rigging. Installing the protector at a branch anchor significantly improves rope glide, reduces friction during ascent, and prevents the rope from directly cutting into the bark or suffering abrasion from rough branches, upholding dual safety standards for tree ecology protection and extended rope lifespan.
The main webbing is constructed from high-rigidity, thickened polyester, offering a stiff texture that resists twisting or flipping. Both ends are precision-stitched to aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum alloy rings (sized as a large ring and a small ring); one end features a special black identification marker, allowing technicians to easily verify the orientation of the rings from the ground. Compatible with throw lines, throw bags, and retrieval balls, it allows for remote installation and retrieval from the ground without the need to climb the tree. Featuring a breaking strength of up to 22kN, it is certified to GB 30862-2014 standards and has passed authoritative SGS safety testing.
Key Features
-
Friction Reduction and Ecological Protection: Smoothly distributes anchor point forces, preventing high-speed friction from the climbing rope from burning or cutting the tree's phloem, while eliminating rope fraying.
-
Aerospace-grade 7075 Aluminum Alloy Large/Small Rings: High-rigidity, anodized rings with smooth inner surfaces to minimize rope drag. The large ring facilitates rope travel, while the small ring catches the retrieval ball for remote ground-based unlocking.
-
Anti-Twist Rigid Polyester Webbing: Specially crafted stiff webbing that resists curling or tangling when being threaded through branches, ensuring clear and smooth routing.
-
High-Visibility Identification and Black Label Markings: One end of the webbing is equipped with a black label to quickly distinguish between the large and small ring ends; high-contrast Green/Orange and Red/Purple colorways ensure high visibility even in dark forest canopy conditions.
- Remote Ground-Based Installation and Retrieval: Used with standard throw line/throw bag systems and retrieval balls, allowing operators to precisely set anchors and pull down the entire system from the ground.
-
Dual Authoritative Safety Certification: Breaking strength of up to 22kN, fully compliant with GB 30862-2014 and SGS safety testing standards.
