1.5mm Dyneema UHMWPE Arborist Throw Line / Ultralight Accessory Cord

A high-strength 1.5mm UHMWPE (Dyneema) throw line designed specifically for arboriculture throw-line operations, tarp guylines, and ultralight gear lashings. It features an 8-strand high-strength core encased in a 16-carrier high-density braided sheath, providing a breaking strength of 150kg.

Weighing only about 1.2g per meter, its smooth surface offers minimal friction, allowing it to easily pass through dense tree canopies when used with a throw bag without snagging or damaging tree bark. It features extremely low water absorption (it floats on water) and near-zero elongation.

Important Safety Note

• Knot Security: Due to the slippery nature of the Dyneema material, always leave a sufficient tail (recommended 10–15cm) and tie a stopper knot when securing knots.

• Heat Resistance Limits: The melting point of the material is approximately 145°C. Avoid high-speed friction and heat buildup; strictly prohibit its use for rappelling descent control or human fall protection.
