STR is a high-performance static rope compliant with EN 1891 Type A standards, specifically designed for rope access, fire and mountain rescue, industrial fall protection, and work positioning. The entire rope is crafted using premium Nylon 66 raw materials with a 48-carrier weave construction. By combining specialized core pre-heat setting and sheath micro-adjustment technologies, the rope offers exceptional handling and deformation resistance.
With an extremely low static elongation of 3.9%, the rope ensures direct force transmission, significantly reducing bounce loss during ascent and positioning. The sheath accounts for 40.2% of the total mass, and the sheath slippage rate is 0%, allowing it to withstand high-frequency compression and abrasion from various mechanical ascenders, descenders, and fall-arrest pulleys without fuzzing or sheath separation over long-term use. It features a minimum breaking strength of 27kN and an impact force of only 5.5kN (factor 0.3), providing both a high breaking safety margin and excellent energy absorption. Available in high-visibility red, safety yellow, and tactical black for easy color-coded management in dual-rope systems (working line and backup line).
Key Features
-
Triple EU/UIAA/National Standard Certification: Fully compliant with CE EN 1891:1998 Type A, UIAA 107:2018, and the fire safety standard XF494-2023, meeting professional rescue procurement criteria for safety redundancy.
-
48-Carrier High-Wear Sheath + 40.2% High Sheath Ratio: The rope surface is tight and smooth with excellent abrasion and cut resistance, offering increased durability when running over edges or used with mechanical rope grabs/ascenders.
-
0% Sheath Slippage (Zero Sheath Displacement): Advanced heat-setting technology bonds the core and sheath tightly, preventing "bunching" in mechanical devices during downward braking or repeated rappelling.
-
3.9% Ultra-low Elongation: Minimal deformation under 50–150kg loads makes ascending more energy-efficient and high-altitude positioning precise and stable.
-
Three-Color Systematic Management: High-contrast red, yellow, and black colorways allow for quick on-site differentiation between the main working line, backup fall-arrest line, and haul/evacuation line.

Product Colors and Usage Recommendations
-
Red: High-visibility warning color; recommended for use as the primary rescue load-bearing line or for identification in complex environments.
-
Yellow: High visibility in low-light conditions; suitable as a safety backup line in dual-rope systems.
-
Black: Low reflection, dirt-resistant; widely used for stage rigging, tactical military/police rappelling, and high-grime exterior facade work.
