The Petzl CROLL is the globally recognized standard chest/ventral ascender for rope access (IRATA), caving, and rescue operations. Designed to be used in conjunction with a hand ascender (ASCENSION) and a foot ascender (PANTIN) for rope climbing, it holds the body in a vertical position to maximize rope ascent efficiency and minimize effort.
